O’ed Adroddwr Recounts the Dark Captain of the Coração

Regwen is a water world
Many are her ships that ply the Void
and such wondrous tales are oft told in dim-lit dining halls
or drinking bars of some repute
but this young man is in none of those places

Aleister is somewhere south of the City called Silence
sitting on the tawny beach of shattered shells
west of the Bridge of Sighs

Strangely the Ocean of Angels is quiescent
Gentle waves lap the north-west beach
The oft-troubled sky, clement

His dark hair unkempt
His chin short-whiskered
His posture betrays the weigh of his heart

The only thing missing
a Gaelic piper from old Earth. . .
