Zalazar’s Desires

Many and manifold
are the desires of
who needs to touch something ugly
in the beauty
Something beautiful
amidst the ugliness

He requires a
certain eccentricity
of image
or mood

Zalazar always wanted to be
a writer himself
But failing in that
he wanted to read poetry
involving haunting encounters
strange curses
deadly secrets
hidden doorways into alternate realities
and mysterious encounters with dead movie stars
in empty train stations

  1. A great, mysterious and magnetic poem. Thanks for sharing. I have a poetry blog here on WordPress and today’s poem is about embracing eccentricity in case you have time to read? Swiss greetings, Sam 🙂
