Scribblers Gathering

He says
The way you write. . . it throws the reader out of the piece
they have to go back and read it again and think about it

I say

He says
what abut the reader?

I say
I always assume the reader is looking to be challenged by works of fiction that are not your run of the mill character/storyline/setting

He says
You don’t know the reader then, they want flow and predictability
You are breaking the rules

I say
Never underestimate your reader
