She said, I am so afraid of everything

She said
I am so afraid of everything

and i asked

She sighed
looked to the horizon
Every time I turn
I hear or see how brutal and deadly the world has become. . .

i looked for wisdom in that sky
the cost of the song
your personal song
is that you must avoid adopting other people’s demons

She chuckled
A dry and rusty sound

i said
children of love are the most tender lovers
but they must learn what they can and can’t control

you must learn
there are things worse than Death

and demons
once set free
make really bad pets. . .
