Under a Moonless Sky ~ Kryst & Chygon

Kryst says
“Standing here next to you
I am strangely awake
everything. . .is
is so calm
the way the waters are so calm after the tsunami
the strange silence that ensues after the thunderclap
swallowing all of me

Having loved once
I’ll never. . .

The strange pleasure. . .
is that the word?
The absence. . .
The abatement of the razor edged cascade of searing. . .

Numbness – yes
the strange numbness
that follows the cessation of the ceaseless injury of Love

Having loved once
I’ll never love again.”

He says
“Peace is just another trap.”

The nightengale pierces the night
bitter sweet notes

She says
“You are just a song to me
Why do I need you?”

He laughs
“You don’t.
You never have.”
