Come one, come all

Chambers of the Heart is a work of reader’s theater performance art concerning the bizarre physiologic and mythic elements of the human heart.

Written by award winning playwright: William C. Burns, Jr.

Your Heart is about the size of your fist
You open and close your hand
Shaping your chest
Squeezing your heart

In Reader’s Theater actors and audience gather in a common space.
There is no stage. Any costumes are improvised and the play unfolds.
The director opens the play and turns it over to the actors.
They perform the script using only their voices and occasional gestures. . .
(Needless to say, this kind of performance is a celebration of the human voice)
