By the Sea ~ 4/4

They find her by the Sea
After the ravages of the Storm
They can see the gods are pleased
With her madness
The sky is clement
And new fishes
have been brought up from the depths
They are pleased

Miria is screaming
Casting herself on the sand
Starting out to sea
Then turning and returning
And though she is mad
They are pleased

They consider casting nets
To catch her up
But decide they will not chance
The wrath of the gods

For the gods are fickle
And who can say what they will require
Of this strange young woman
What they will require of any of us
