the Myrlin Effect

She has come to rest here
Here on the far side of the Moon
On the near side of the Dark Ocean
Somewhere
Nowhere

Here she is safe at last
Unbending herself
Straightening out
the way the burgeon unfolds into a bloom
the way a butterfly who has never known flight
unfolds tender wings
the way. . .
the way her smile returns to her face

Here on the far side of the Moon
On the near side of the Dark Ocean
Somewhere
Nowhere
