Dreamer in a Blind Sky

The house incomplete
They said there would be a roof
But there is no protection from the wind

I held the dream
that all children hold so dear

I held a memory that burned
like acid

I chanted
The book of the dead
Written on a night sky
Blind sky
Without stars
