synchronize yourself

cold
wet
dark and drab
mist as personal as your hand
over my face

most will cower
complain about the sun they lost
and waste the opportunity

this is sleeping weather folks
you think the incandescent bulb
has robbed you of the bliss of sleep
but current study reveals that per-nitelight culture
stayed up about as late as you do in the summer months
(sure they were singing and being all communal)

its the heat
its the way you keep the temp so high
they way you keep the lights all lit
the way you refuse to change your cycles
so to be all asynch with the Cosmic Wheel

cold
wet
dark and drab
mist as personal as your hand
over my face

make a place all furry and nestly
grab a loved one and snuggle in
revel in your dream-time the old fashioned way

synchronize yourself
