you are a box and a ghost in that box ~ the whole light as particle/wave thing

She says
“Do you think I’m human?”

The cyan/silver dragon turns
His electric blue eyes
Meet hers

He says
‘Human . . . ?
If you were
Would we speak thus . . .?’
Just a hint thunder
in his voice

He says
‘i have given considerable thought
the whole light as particle/wave thing
and the whole brain/mind thing
but now you ask the more difficult question’
He shifts his weight

He says
‘You are both human
And something more . . .
You are after all
a Poetess . . . are you not?
And as such
I would offer
that you are a box and a ghost in the box
If you open the box
the ghost is not there
But if you close the box again
There you are . . . ‘
