tiny teeth of time

time has such tiny teeth
cascading over me like sand
caught in the temporwave
crashing down all around me

tiny teeth like a cloud of small quelea (Quelea /ˈkwiliə/)
abrading the glacial erratic
were the fossil of a petrified heart
awaits the light of day

if only for a moment
